X-tervention is a series of mural sized cyanotype prints on fabric. With the help of my family, I set up a series of tableaus using household items including silverware, dining room chairs, glassware, a bed, a lamp, a side table, and a couch. I brought these items outside and placed them on top of the cyanotype fabric or wrapped the cyanotype around them, and left each print in the sun for ten minutes before rinsing it with water. Once dry, I hung each print in front of a window in my house, thus changing the light quality of the room. Hanging in front of the window, the prints look like x-rays of the domestic objects. The sunlight acts like a light-board, illuminating the image for the interior space.
